Cavalier Tattoo the creative vision of Rachel Cavalier and Mattaeus Ball.
Located in the heart of Hemel Hempstead’s historic Old Town, our studio offers a warm, inclusive, and inspiring environment for anyone seeking high-quality custom tattoos.
Our mission is simple: to provide a comfortable, accessible studio where multiple tattoo styles come together under one roof. Whether you’re looking for fine-line, traditional, realism, or bespoke custom work, we’re here to bring your ideas to life. The studio is fully wheelchair accessible, ensuring everyone feels welcome.
Walk-ins are welcome for general enquiries. For tattoo concepts, please book a consultation so we can discuss your vision in detail.
Though Cavalier Tattoo is new, our team is highly experienced. Co-owner Rachel Cavalier brings over 16 years of industry expertise, and we are currently looking for established artists to join our growing family.

Guest Artist
Dom will be available as one of our regular guest artist.
Dom is a brilliant all rounder Tattooist with over 20 years in the industry. a bit of an all rounder but his colour work really stands out.

Wheel Chair Accessible
We are proud to say that we are wheelchair- and disability-friendly.
Old Town has plenty of disabled parking, and our shop front is wheelchair-accessible with a little assistance. If you can let us know in advance that you’ll be visiting in a wheelchair, we will do our utmost to make your experience as smooth and comfortable as possible.
Please note that, unfortunately, we are unable to provide a disabled toilet. However, Old Town has accessible public toilets located in the square, right next to our shop.
Our aim is to make your visit as easy and enjoyable as possible.
How to find us
You can find us at 50 High Street, Old Town Hemel Hempstead, opposite Yalla Yalla.
Please do not park on the High Street unless you have a disability badge, as parking is limited to 30 minutes.
A pay-and-display car park is located behind the shop, just off the High Street on the left, just before the mini roundabout.
